Is the Dragon Dice Worth It in Anime Dice?
Direct answerDragon is an Exotic dice with 200,000× displayed Luck and an $8.5Qa price in the 10 September 2026 snapshot. As an upgrade step it is expensive: 8.50× the price of Black Hole for 2× the Luck. It is a reasonable target after Black Hole, and a poor first late-game purchase.
Dragon by the numbers
| Dice | Rarity | Displayed Luck | Shop price | Step from previous |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Black Hole | Divine | 100,000× | $1Qa | 6.67× price, 2× Luck (vs Galaxy) |
| Dragon | Exotic | 200,000× | $8.5Qa | 8.50× price, 2× Luck |
| Royal | Exotic | 400,000× | $100Qa | 11.76× price, 2× Luck |
The step is the problem, not the dice
Dragon's own numbers are fine: 200,000× is double Black Hole. The issue is the price multiple. At 8.50×, Dragon is more expensive per Luck than Black Hole (6.67×) and much worse than the best late step, Lunar → Galaxy (4.05×). If you are choosing where to spend, Dragon is not the efficient rung.
When Dragon is still the right buy
- You are already past Black Hole and the next alternative costs 11.76× (Royal).
- You want the Exotic tier specifically — for collection or a team goal, not for raw Luck per dollar.
- You have measured income that covers $8.5Qa in a session or two; otherwise the wait dominates the upgrade.
